01A lifelong strength athlete who built Deepwater to help other people discover what they are capable of.
Coach Mando began lifting weights after joining the wrestling team at age 14. The original plan was to become strong enough to wrestle at a higher level—but before long, lifting became more fun than wrestling, and he committed his life to the weights.
He went on to set the junior Texas state deadlift record in powerlifting, earn the title of Texas Strongest Man in 2017, compete at Strongman Corporation Nationals, and place 16th at the under-80 kg World’s Strongest Man competition.
A CrossFit Level 3 (CF-L3) trainer, Mando opened Deepwater CrossFit in 2020 to help others challenge themselves and perform at their best. He believes that proper nutrition, fitness, and mobility can help anyone move toward their goals.
02An endurance athlete and community builder who helps people uncover strength they may not know they have.
Growing up in a culture where exercise was often seen as masculine, Ayleen knew she wanted to break that cycle. She danced through high school before finding her way into sports medicine.
That path led her to work with Division I athletes on recovery and injury prevention. What began as an interest in personal training became a love for coaching, unlocking untapped potential, and building strong communities.
A CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2) trainer, Ayleen has used CrossFit to push her own limits. She completed the two-day, 250-mile SB250 bike ride as well as Ironman Texas 70.3 and Waco 70.3, and she is working toward Ironman Texas 140.6. Through every challenge, she coaches others to see the significance of movement—and believe that hard work can make difficult things possible.
Deepwater membership options start at $155 per month. Your coach will match the right training rhythm to your goal, schedule, and appetite for a challenge.
